Over pages, we took each section one at a time and discussed ideas and events. This has been in progress all year. A common theme to answering the question of "how to reward employees" was to ask them what they want. What makes them feel valued? A quick unanimous survey allowed colleagues to share what is important, what we are doing right and where could we improve. I am proud of my team for not using it as an avenue to complain, but given positive and constructive feedback.

This is a pretty good book, I have used a handful of ideas from this already with my team with very good results. site Edition Verified download. I didn't read all of this, and I probably never will. That's because it fulfills it's purpose so well. This would be a great book even if it was " Ways to Reward Employees. This book could save you a lot of money, too, but showing you how to reward employees for little or no money.
I really think that its best use is training immediate supervisors, but I'm sure it has many more uses than that. Excellent, excellent resource. It is exactly what it says it is. I have had one of these in the past. It is a great book.Clearing employee obstacles can be an important first step to enhancing employee performance in most organizations.
