Book Review: The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life Vol. 1 A transcription of Drunvalo's course by the same name, this book has a very conversational feel. No part of this book may be used This book, volume 2, is dedicated to the child within you and to all the The Flower of Life Seen from the Feminine Side of the Flower of Life in 33 countries, who have given me invaluable feedback, It is my prayer that this book will become a blessing in your life and give you a.

If you want to lift the veil, you need to read this series. I can't explain how this information completely fits. It changes your brain. What I've always thought is true and my life feels right. If you feel drawn to this man, then read his work! I just let it pour into me and figure my mind will sort it out later.

Reading Volume I the second time made both volumes seem to grow in their revelations. I began understanding some of the things I had only whizzed through before. To pretend I understand all of it would be a lie, but my knowledge grows with each reading. It is good teaching material, using sacred geometry, Egyptology, symbolism, music, crystals, the past, the future, storytelling and much more as its tea.

Drunvalo takes difficult topics and explains them clearly. He gives his audience much to think about. I have seen him speak on two occasions and found him to be kind, clear and very informative. site Customer This book is not for those who think "in the box.

In this book the author talks about the 5 levels of human consciousness, the MerKaBa the energy field which surrounds all living things , and explains with geometric diagrams, a very interesting interpretation of the Biblical story of Genesis. And there is a lot more in this book to blow your mind. These are amazing, stimulating, and exciting books Vol. I and II that eloquently explain Sacred Geometry in magnificient detail and how it relates to all life and everything in existence in this universe.

The author effectively projects pure love to the reader. Everything is Light and nothing else. The only real thing that holds us back is Fear itself. I appreciate that he admits when he isn't sure about something and relates his personal theories. This makes the facts more believable and undenialable. The geometric mathematics are flawless and demonstrates dramatically that this creation is perfect and everthing God does, will do, and has done is perfect in infinite detail.

He shows that Life is Wonderful, Joyous, and Exciting and makes one truly and deeply thankful to God for everything in this and who knows how many universes. Drunvalo has brought an interesting piece of work to the forefront of human existance. Intense explanations on life, religion and consciousness amidst of blurry of scientific proof leave the reader interested and at times stupified.

Two Thumbs up!!!!!! This book is great and helped ot explain a lot to me, why I always felt certain things. If there is a downfall, it's that the book is written to the left-brained world which makes it difficult for me I am almost completely right-brain dominant but despite the difficulty and having to struggle, I felt it to be very much worth the work and I feel it helped the inbalance just a little, making it easier for me to move about through the world.

A little less than As an engineer and a student of Spirit, I believe Drunvalo and Thoth are right on the money. If you have not extensively studied related spiritual subjects that he often touches on briefly, you will be overloaded and dismiss the information as crazy, as I see many have. Drunvalo is not crazy. It is a fact that when one reaches a certain spiritual level, they will begin to communicate with entities from another dimension. Thoth, an immortal entity, downloads to us through Drunvalo.

I believe the information is of the light, selfless and pure. These are the secrets of life. Believe it or not, "it is only light". Interesting subject, but unfortunately the writings of Drunvalo are rather unconvincing to me. The things he writes about are for the most part entirely non-verifiable and of no practical use whatsoever as is a lot of the information in books of this genre, I agree.

What's more, some of the claims he makes are very hard to believe even for me and I'm pretty open minded. For example, the part where he says that there is a gigantic flying saucer under the Great Pyramid which supposedly rose up Interesting subject, but unfortunately the writings of Drunvalo are rather unconvincing to me. For example, the part where he says that there is a gigantic flying saucer under the Great Pyramid which supposedly rose up in , being commanded by a year old woman?

Allegedly the circumference of the saucer is at least the same as the pyramid's, so I would think that at least some one would have noticed. Considering also the fact that I have wanted to download this book since it was first published about 20 years ago, you could say I am quite disappointed.

Book Review: The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life Vol. 1

But maybe the second volume is better in explaining 'the ancient secret'. I may download it some day simply to supplement the first volume. I forget who suggested this book to me, but it definitely wasn't up my alley. While I do enjoy spiritual works, this came across as far more of a wild-eyed conspiracy theory that just made it very hard to take seriously. The author makes a lot of claims about a lot of different fields, but it's hard to know if it should be taken at face value because I was able to discern some factual inaccuracies even on the simpler stuff I do know something about like the differences between viruses and bacte I forget who suggested this book to me, but it definitely wasn't up my alley.

The author makes a lot of claims about a lot of different fields, but it's hard to know if it should be taken at face value because I was able to discern some factual inaccuracies even on the simpler stuff I do know something about like the differences between viruses and bacteria and what causes cancer. That doesn't leave me much confidence in the rest of the author's knowledge. I'm not going to try to deny the author's experiences, but in publishing a work it is usually a good idea to try to present your ideas in a way that can be easily followed and understood.

Not only was there scant evidence for a lot of outrageous claims, the narrative skipped all over the place with the author introducing the reader to a subject and then telling the reader it would be covered in more detail later instead of addressing it right away.

And this is only volume one. For someone claiming to want to give spiritual information to a ready world, breaking something like this into multiple volumes that are priced higher than the average site book seems like just a ploy to gain more money.

As much of a completionist as I am, I do not feel compelled to finish this work by spending more money or time on a second volume. Feb 15, Tameca rated it it was ok Shelves: The subject matter the book attempts to cover is quite exciting.

However, I crave more science, more thoroughness, and less gaps between what information is here. There is not enough interconnectedness between ideas, and I am left asking tons of questions in the margins of the pages.

I suppose such a feat would be difficult to do in one or two volumes which the author admittedly attempts. I do believe that this is a nice introduction that supplies some very good clues and jumping off points for The subject matter the book attempts to cover is quite exciting. I do believe that this is a nice introduction that supplies some very good clues and jumping off points for anyone seeking more information about the flower of life and ideas connected to it.

Any serious seeker will have questions and seek out the answers for his or herself. This is a suggestion while reading this book. Take what you can and explore further. Not all of the answers are here, nor are they necessarily correct. Feb 13, JJ rated it really liked it.

This book is definitely the first step in the direction for those seeking to take their consciousness to higher levels. Yes, we have psyche abilities too include multidimensional traveling among other things via the human pineal gland, of course, once you cut fluoride out of your life for starters.

Drunvalo does a superb job breaking down scared geometry to an easy and understandable process. My left brain the logical aspect had a little trouble absorbing the mathematical concepts in scared geometry due to my right brain emotional aspect being very dominant in my personality but as stated, Drunvalo does a superb job explaining the concepts of this ancient knowledge.

Upon reading this first volume you will truly see and feel the universal oneness of how we are all connected to each other, plants, animals, and to the entire galaxy via geometry, scared to be precise. Sep 22, Arianna rated it it was amazing Shelves: This book has brought so many of my different beliefs and experiences together in a way that has helped to guide me to my own truth.

I read everything, question everything, and decide for myself what feels right. Drawing the images in this book myself, seeing the endless shapes that emerge, meditating on them, continuing my own research into these subjects, all of this has led me to feel uplifted and excited for our future.

I've jumped into Volume 2 and I can't wait to learn the breathing techniques to activate the Merkaba. I've already had some amazing experiences with visualizing it around my body while I open my heart to universal love. Thank you Drunvalo Melchizedek for this wonderful, and inspiring book! Title in German: Im not a genius at mathematics and I had to struggle to comprehend some of his hypothesis, explanations and theories.

Nonetheless it is a very interesting book and surely only appropriate for people who are willing to look beyond their own noses and to accept that there are diffierent views of reality. Maybe I will someday But I have to say I was disappointed.

I have an open mind-- I've been building sacred geometry orgone producing structures, for go o d's sake. In fact this is why I read this book-- so many people told me I should check it out after experiencing my Merkaba. To be generous, this is the sort of book you read and can hope to get some sort of profound energetic communication that helps One star is pretty harsh but in my personal rating system it means, I didn't finish the book. To be generous, this is the sort of book you read and can hope to get some sort of profound energetic communication that helps elevate your vibration.

If I finish it it will be for this sort of potential benefit. To be miserly, this book claims to be half scientific and half mystical. The science half sucks. The mystical half is way out there, basically all channeled material. Aug 01, Adam rated it liked it Recommends it for: This review gives a little insight into what this book can teach u.

May 02, Energywise rated it it was amazing. I am just finishing it rite now for the third time around. I have dipped into volume 2 and felt I should go back into this one and see what more I could get from it. This time around was the best and I imagine it can only get better and more astonishing each journey through. For knowing so much, Drunvalo has a very humble approach to his outlook with also having a very unique and irresistible pull to the information given here.

Sep 14, Noor Azzony rated it it was amazing. Im not sure how I can rate this book Its not ths kind of dreamy-time-read-book Its even printed in a text book size and style The information in it is shocking And yet you feel that you already know it With all its complexity there is a mix of obviousness in its teaching If you are one of those people who are intending to ascend to the next level of consiousness To the next dimension Then drunvalo puts Im not sure how I can rate this book Then drunvalo puts the corner stone and the basics for you to do so Aug 07, Chris Marchan rated it really liked it.

Very interesting book. Some in depth insights that I had not read in other books on Sacred Geometry. Especially the very esoteric subtopics in the first half of the book surrounding subtopics tangent to those of Zecharia Sitchin. The second half of the book really sheds light onto the matrix of creation. More and more we can see that there are NO mistakes. All is by design. I was sufficiently impressed with this one that I ordered Vol.

Apr 07, Kacey Jo rated it did not like it. It is definitely captivating, but the fact people take it to be true is the reason I gave it 1 star. The author is a devout Muslim and I feel it is his attempt to indoctrinate gullible souls. If you want to discuss sacred geometry, great! Just don't throw ridiculous religious stories into the mix that have absolutely no merit.

Jan 23, Aimee Benefield rated it it was ok. Don't mistake this material for non-fiction. Which is fine, but Melchizedek tries to claim the events are true. He even seems to jump up and down, yell, and scream to convince the reader the accuracy simply by using exclamation points in every paragraph.

Fun to read, but don't take it too seriously.

The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life, Volume 1

The rest was description after description about geometry and how it makes up our world. Mathematics is commonly known as the universal language Also, the book jumped from idea to idea with seemingly no connection. I wanted to love it.

I read it all the way to the end waiting for something to resonate with me. Even if it was little. Nov 07, Avalina Kreska rated it it was amazing. I read this book because I could no longer ignore the strange coincidences that have happened in my life regarding sacred geometry, reading Drunvalo's book made sense and gave me a feeling of 'coming home' - that I wasn't so weird after all, doodling the flower of life and Metatron's cube as a child without prompting or instruction, and further strange events that are lost on most people.

This work is well researched and no doubt will interest mathematicians and scientist who wish to take a look at solving problems they may grapple with from another perspective. The author constantly digresses to other interesting subject matters from the main point of the work which is to inform or enlighten the reader on what the "MER KE BA" actually is, how it is to be revived or how it is to be activated.

All said, for the spiritually clear; it appears to be all muddled up. Where one cannot ex This work is well researched and no doubt will interest mathematicians and scientist who wish to take a look at solving problems they may grapple with from another perspective.

The information is presented very haphazardly. I was driven crazy by the numerous cliffhanger tidbits that were dangled at the end of a section followed by promises of "we'll get back to that later. A horrible sales job. May 26, Rieka Long rated it it was amazing Shelves: This book has been in my radar for many years.

I thought it would be complex and overwhelm me. Being an expensive book I allowed myself to wait for a used copy to show up in my life - then I would download and read it. Found it in a used book store on May 3, a few weeks went by before I had a "reading day" in which I consumed the whole book.

Some very interesting theories. The author always states that if the information seems unreal just read it as if it were fiction and then let your heart decide. Well written for the common man to understand complex concepts of Geometry. Readers also enjoyed. About Drunvalo Melchizedek. Drunvalo Melchizedek.
